Dear NCPEA Member:
We are delighted to be launching the first edition of the NCPEA Member Research Directory. The NCPEA leadership team, under the leadership of President Gary Kinsey and the Executive Board, created this directory as a tool to assist you in your work as a researcher, communicator, mentor or protégé, and more. All members of NCPEA are provided with a complimentary copy of this Directory. This database provides an abbreviated professional dossier of each member. It enables you to find folks with ease, make matches of your own, and pave new creative directions for yourself.
How to Use the Research Directory
The Research Directory is indexed by name and research areas so users can locate colleagues in specific areas of scholarly and practical expertise and areas of focus within dissertations. Users can cross-reference information for various purposes and establish common areas of research and practice. By making contacts, users form new relationships and extend work arrangements. You can locate potential collaborators and mentors and have access to an up-to-date source of information that will be useful for making connections, working collaboratively, and doing research. Locate other NCPEA members with expertise and knowledge in specific areas related to your focus in education leadership and administration. Find colleagues with the same or different research interests and experiences in supervising dissertation research, as another example. You can also gather information about our members for such purposes as improving communications and making connections across the areas of networking, researching, mentoring, publishing, and program and policy analysis. Look for mentors, editors, and other experienced professionals who can provide support in the early phases of professional development. In the spirit of NCPEA, lend a hand if you are an experienced member or professional and connect with our newer members and early-career professionals. Or, just be a buddy and share ideas, tips, or information with others. This directory will save you hours otherwise spent endlessly surfing (and trouble-shooting broken web links) to locate people’s names, addresses, research areas, and other information. By having taken the survey, your name entered this nation-wide document that other members will scan and search for overall benefit to everyone and NCPEA as a growing organization. We thank you for the time you took to complete the survey.
How to Be Included in Future Directories
Share the link with other members who may have missed completing the survey. If you are a member, you’ll want to be indexed in the directory: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/CJYVK2N Send any changes or amendments to the existing directory to Dr. Carol A. Mullen at

Members who have completed the survey have been offering their services as mentors or requesting that such services be made available; this is an example of the type of organizational networking that NCPEA can do on your behalf and at the fingertips of its own membership.
Enjoy.
